The piece's title comes from a Baudrillard text that suggests the hyper-focus as we a society that we now pay attention to bodies, both our own and others. Transgender and intersexed people have existsed throughout the entirety of history however remain largely, if almost completely, erased from any discourse of society and culture. What alterations do you do to your body that deviate from its natural form, or better yet, is there a natural form for the body - either in terms of gender, size, presentation, or classification?
